The 2026 Tour de Bloom offers new formats. Omnium categories expand to four days, and Stage Racers to six, with longer criteriums and no double stage days. Omnium racers need not start or finish every stage. The six-day Stage Race is team entry only, for Pro-1-2 Men Elite and Pro-1-2-3 Women Elite. Options exist for individuals seeking teams and teams needing riders. A Stand Alone Time Trial, separate from Omnium scoring, is also available for an extra day of racing with elites at a low entry fee.
Gran Fondo Leavenworth is a road cycling race held in Leavenworth, Washington, a Bavarian-styled village east of the Cascade Mountains. Its Alpine Challenge route is designed for riders who can climb hard, descend cleanly, and maintain focus in a fast group. The course is demanding, featuring rugged mountain terrain, steep gradients, and technical descents that go beyond steady pedaling. The course favors climbers and skilled bike handlers, but tactics are also key: drafting, positioning, breakaways, and sprint points can influence the race before the major climbs. The event attracts competitive regional riders, leading to an aggressive pace at the front early on. This gran fondo requires more than just endurance; riders need climbing strength, confidence on descents, and tactical awareness to conserve energy.

EagleRock via Burch Mt Rd, Red Apple route, Peavine, Horse Lake Road, and NF-9712 cover gravel, sand, and dirt. Season: April, May, and June are the sweet spot. May usually gets the wildflower peak in the Eastern Cascade foothills, and in spring there are a lot of them. South-facing Wenatchee and Cashmere trails can ride by late March. Sage Hills and Horse Lakes had good dirt conditions on April 20th, and the 2022 mountain bike season stayed dry well into June. Summer keeps the arid, desert-like feel at 750 m, but riders can still get out without getting beat down by the sun. Winter changes the rhythm. on January 1st.
